Diego de Semilly presents himself as an extremely sympathetic stallion, added with a beautiful look and exceptional gaits whilst staying balanced and being free throughout his body. His jump is quite simply amazing; demonstrating a flawless technique and optimal scope, which he proved at the 2013 30-day test in Neustadt-Dosse. Following a whole host of victories in young horse classes (1 m-125 m), he then went on to win the final qualifier for the national six-year-old final in Warendorf, in which he was also placed. His foals have been particularly impressive, with a good type and a high degree of elasticity; therefore, many have been awarded the ‘premier status’ as foals. His sire Diarado was Holsteins Champion stallion in 2007 and he was successful in many 1.40m classes.

The Dam Velvet III has exceptional breeding, Colman/Exorbitant xx/Cantus. With the legendary, high-performing pair ‘Wahnfried’ and ‘Cottage son xx’ further down the line, the pedigree is blessed with excellent genes. Dam line 390 has produced, amongst others, licensed stallions Chairman (Hessen), Calidos (Holstein), Clüver (Holstein), El Clarimo (Netherlands), Lemato (Netherlands), Levan (USA), Lombard (AUT), Quick Nick I and II (Holstein) and the internationally successful jumping horse Lets Jump ridden by Karsten Huck. Diego de Semilly won the Holsteiner Championship of the 7-year old horses in Elmshorn 2017.
