Calido I

He was the king of our stallion stable! Calido I was one of the most important sires of his time. His pedigree features three times Cor de la Bryère A.N., Cottage Son xx, Ramzes AA as well as Anblick xx twice. Granddam Kollet (by Roman) produced six dressage and show jumping horses, all successful up to the advanced (S) level. Calido I is a representative of the particularly successful damline 5046  that produced many licensed stallions such as Little Rock, Casaltino, Quarz ASK, Paramount, Ukato and Chaccothage Blue. Dam's sire Coriander was an all-rounder with many victories achieved in advanced (S) level dressage competitions. Calido I won the jumper class at his stallion performance test and 25 young jumper development classes, including the final qualifier at the German Federal Championships. The successes of his progeny underline his outstanding breeding value, which has put him at the top for years. Outstanding offspring are for example King van Essene/Thibeau Spits (BEL), KM Chalcedon/Jur Vrieling (NLD), Nations Cup winner Charley/Johnny Pals (NLD), Coupe de Coeur (German Champion under René Tebbel in 2006 and 2007), Olympic participant Nobless M; 2007 Grand Prix winner in Helsinki and La Coronia under Pius Schwizer, Eurocommerce Acapulco under Gerco Schröder (NLD) and many more. Calido I is also a valuable stallion when it comes to siring outstanding mares. Offspring out of Calido I-mares have already won more than 5 million Euro. 115 of his sons have been licensed worldwide, more than 400 of his offspring earned show successes at the advanced (S) show jumping level, 104 of them at the 4-star-level (1.60m). The amount of lifetime earnings of offspring has long since exceeded 6 million Euros.
