The name tells the exceptional combination of two of the best performers in the sport, Canturo and Stakkato, continued via sires of legendary status like Fürst Ferdinand, Don Carlos, Domspatz and Amateur I. An exceptional up-coming young sire who became the only premium stallion of the supplementary approval in Verden. His noble appearance, exceptional technique and enormous scope brought him that award. Canstakko’s dam, Stakkatos Deern, state premium mare, finished her mare performance test on a 10 for technique and a 10 for ability. His granddam, Fürstin by Fürst Ferdinand (FN-performance name: Flotte Deern) was successful herself up to advanced level with Frank Johannsen as the rider. Her first offspring is the successful championship horse Esprit FRH, winning Olympic team gold 2000 and World Championship team gold 1998 with Lars Nieberg. Canstakko finished his stallion performance test on a very good second place in jumping, where he scored a 10 in loose jumping and 9,5 from the test rider. In 2010, Canstakko won two qualifiers for Bundeschampionate and had 3 winning foals. Canstakko produced 4 approved sons, one of them a premium stallion nominated at the Hannover approval 2014. Canstakko belongs to the best 1 percent of jumping stallions in Germany in 2016 and 2017. The FN-evaluation 2018 lists 18 offspring successful in advanced level. Canstakko was placed in the grandprix in Dobrock Neustadt-Dosse and Verden in 2018.
