Proven show horse and sire with a gorgeous conformation and impressive stallion personality. Canstakko completed his stallion performance test as the runner-up in the jumper test (10 free jumping score, 9.5 test rider score). He then won two qualifications for the German Federal Championships. He was placed in the main jumping competitions at the Dobrock Show, in Neustadt and Verden under Takashi Haase Shibayama (JPN) and qualified for the 2020 Olympics.

He sired seven licensed sons, including Cantolar, Premium Stallion at the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in 2014. 69 of his children are competing in showjumping up to S level. Caprice/Jens Baackmann, Celina BH/ Mimi Gochman (USA) and Julieta/Christine Mc Crae (USA) are his best-known offspring. FN lifetime earnings of offspring currently amount to 700.000 €.

Canstakko represents "the best of both worlds" when it comes to genetic background. His  sire Canturo comprising all the best Holstein genes. His dam, Hanoverian state premium mare Stakkato's Deern adds the best Hanoverian show jumping bloodlines: Stakkato, Fürst Ferdinand, Don Carlos, Domspatz and Amateur I. Bred to Acorado I, she produced the licensed stallion Aga Khan Z/Christian Ahlmann. Canstakko's granddam, Fürstin successfully competed up to the advanced (S) level.Her first offspring was  the highly successful championship horse Esprit FRH, with Lars Nieberg Olympic Team Champion in 2000 and winner of the team gold medal at the World Championships in 1998. Canstakko is a representative of the Hanoverian damline 624/Jenara that produced stallions such as Dipylon and Spielberg as well as the internationally successful jumpers Contanga/Andre Thieme, Carriere/Daniel Deusser and Looping Star/Darragh Kenny.
