Premium stallion at the 2015 Holsteiner licensing. Exceptionally elegant with the correct build, Caspian delights with his obvious promise. Huge jumping capabilities, ideal technique and bascule. He is developing an expansive uphill canter from his powerful back, which makes him predestined to be a jumping horse. His father Caretino was one of the Holsteiner breed’s most successful stallions. He produced both dressage and jumping horses to meet the highest demands and enjoyed international success with, amongst others, Ludger Beerbaum. He provided 70 licensed sons. Caspian’s mother Ornelia produced several S show-jumping horses, including Caspian’s full brother Cassio Melloni/Janne Friederike Meyer, who was State Champion of the 7-year-old jumping horses in Elmshorn in 2014. Dam’s sire Cassini I, who has had international success with Franke Sloothaak, is one of the most outstanding show-jumping sires in the world. In the 3rd generation we find two-time German eventing national champion horse Calgary/Herbert Blöcker. Calgary is in-bred three times to legendary licensing winner and top sire Caletto II. Ronald and Landgraf I are subsequent sires in this highly valuable ancestral line. Caspian is the first licensed stallion from stem 7380, which has yielded a whole host of internationally successful show-jumping horses. In his stallion performance test, caspian proved himself well scoring good marks for his jumping technique, scope and rideability.
