There were only very few significantly important, tried and tested sires such as Cash and Carry. An incredible number of 65 out of 175 successful offspring in Germany won and placed in advanced (S) level show jumping competitions. 15 of them won and placed at the 4-star-level (1.60 m), among them Cash and Go 3/Simone Wettstein (SUI), Cashflow/Jörg Naeve, Champ/Thomas Holz, Cash and Go/Thomas Whitaker (GBR,) PSG Future/Max Kühner (AUT) and Caipirinha/ Alexis Goulet (FRA). Overall his offspring won more than 1 Million Euro. So far he has 9 proven sons: Caipirinha (Schwaiganger state stud stallion), Click and Cash (SWE), Common Sense (ITA), Carry the Cash HS, Cash Money HS, Cullinan M&M, Contino, Casquino and Cashman (BEL). Following his 30-day performance test, Cash and Carry won a number of young jumper development classes up to the medium level, and he qualified for the 2004 German Federal Championships. His sire Cash was born to famous parents: Sire Cor de la Bryère was one of the most important stallions of the 20th century in Holstein; his dam Landgräfin was an internationally successful jumper with Hugo Simon. She was full sister to Landgraf I, who also appears as dam’s sire in Cash and Carry’s pedigree. Ahorn Z and Capitano complement the pedigree. Cash and Carry is a representative of damline 256, one of the oldest ones in the Holstein breed, which also produced stallions such as Baron PKZ (international show horse with Björn Nagel) and Kannandillo (Angelos Touloupis/GRE).
