Uston has been presenting himself in the very best light during his first showing and breeding season in 2018. After his 14-day-test in 2017, he also performed impressively at the Münster-Handorf sport test, scoring 8.62 with top marks on ability and technique. The Holsteiner State Championship where Uston secured an excellent 3rd place in the 4-yr-old jumper class at a score of 8.30 and top ability marks was doubtless one of the year’s highlights. Uston boasts thrilling jumping horse points as he displays quick reflexes, an active hind leg reaching well under the centre of gravity along with perfect bascule and great scope. His sire, Uriko by Untouchable, has won and placed highly in jumper classes through S** level and has by now made quite a name for himself in the Holsteiner studbook as a sire. Uston‘s mare family 2137 counts among the Holsteiner studbook’s high achievers, tracing back to the dam line of Legende which has produced a whole dynasty of highly successful international jumping horses over generations: Cento (Olympic and World Cup winner), Lamarque (World young horse Champion), Nekton, Dulcinea La Silla, Indecision, Baroness, Casanova, Casado, and My Lord’s Way.
