Van Gogh was the outstanding winner of the KWPN stallion performance test in 2005. His performance test is one of the most successful of all time! Van Gogh was already the audience favorite during the KWPN main licensing in Den Bosch. Exterior, movement and his unlimited jumping ability characterize this stallion. Father Numero Uno is one of the most successful stallions in the Netherlands and represents the Ladykiller line. Many stallions and successful offspring come from Van Gogh's maternal line and are successful in both show jumping and dressage sports. Already in his first crop we can find countless offspring who were just as successful at Grand Prix level in dressage as well as in show jumping. Well known is Cosmo, who was one of the best dressage horses in the world and won a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016. Successful offspring at 1.60m level are Bella Brown/Emma Augier (FRA), Dalton W/Paul Barker (GBR), Le Vio/Pablo Barrios (VEN), and Fabio/Gonzalo Azcarraga (MEX). Van Gogh, who was part of the German championship squad for years, has achieved excellent success at international tournaments and Grand Prix with his rider Marco Kutscher. The pair won, among others, the GCT GP in Valkenswaard, the Los Angeles Masters GP, the Hong Kong GP and the Zurich Championship.
