Purely Holstein-bred in Westphalia, Caressini embodies all the performance and nobility attributes of Holstein breeding: outstanding type, the same applies to the canter and jumping style and scope. With dream marks, Caressini became the Federal and Westphalia Champion in 2015 under Christian Kukuk. The extremely sporty gray stallion received top grades of 9.1 and 9.4 in the Warendorf final for his confident demeanor, perfect rideability and limitless jumping ability. In 2016, Caressini won several Federal Championship qualifiers. He was highly successful in the Youngster Tour and has achieved placements in international advanced level (S**) competitions. The offspring impress with their modern type, good riding qualities and a high level of jumping ability. They have won numerous young-horse competitions and give cause for great hope. The oldest are seven years old this year, Cellini/Eoin McMahon (IRL) and Cabousini/Niels Bulthuis (NED) were already placed internationally.
The father, Carento, by Caretino-Contender-Lorenz-Cor de la Bryère combines classical Holsteiner blood. The 1.1 million OS champion stallion Le Champ Ask comes from a full sister of the Carento dam Novice, who herself produced, the fifth-placed at the Bundeschampionate, Gut Neuenhof's Cantate, Capriole, who was already placed in class S, and the 2010 Westphalian jumping champion mare, Cristalies. In 2011, Carento placed seventh at the Federal Championships for five-year-old show jumping horses and was in the final again in 2012, after placing fourth and eighth in the qualifications. He then continued his career in the USA. Caressini's dam U-Cassina also bred the licensed Cronau. After an outstanding SLP in which she received a 9.5 for her rideability and her free jumping, she was used exclusively in breeding. The grandmother also completed a remarkable SLP (overall grade 8.6), with receiving the maximum grade of 10 for freejumping. The Holstein dam line 2004 produced 40 licensed stallions, including: Acord's Champion (PB Bay.), Ariadus (USA) and Cool Man K. This family also produced a number of international show jumpers, including: Clearwater 8/Jesse Luther, SIG Thor/Chris Pratt (CAN) and Barcelona/Tina Deuerer.
