CHAVAROS II

First reserve champion at the 2021 Holstein Stallion Licensing in Neumünster: Chavaros II is a shiny young stallion who very much represents the classic Holstein type. He exhibits three super basic gaits, an outstanding canter and powerful jumping. He completed the short ability test in Warendorf and the sport test I in Münster-Handorf with a final score of 8.24. Last year he made his debut in sport, won young horse competitions and was fifth placed with a score of 8.5 in the national championship.

His first crop of foals was absolutely convincing; he was able to produce championship foals in several breeding districts. The offspring of Chavaros II are large-framed foals with beautiful heads and very good movements.

Sire Charleston won the 2015 Holstein Stallion Licensing. He is successfully participating in international advanced level jumper classes with Hannes Ahlmann. The dam Venetia I is dam of four more licensed sons: Chavaros I, the older full brother, who is now successful with his Japanese rider, Canvaro, successful at the international advanced (S) show jumping level under Gilbert Böckmann, Castelano, successful in Czech Republic  and Cascador Air, a successful jumper with Michael Aabo. Venetia I is dam of eight successful jumpers, fife of them successfully competing at the advanced (S) level. Granddam Orchestra is sister of the internationally successful licensed stallion Caruso (with Ales Opartny successful in the Czech Nationscup-Team) and of AB 19 Chianti/Christian Hess.

The important Holstein sires Con Air, Caretino and Capitol I can be found on the maternal side of the pedigree. 

Chavaros II is a representative of the well-known Holstein dam line 1571 which has produced 15 licensed stallions and the internationally successful jumpers Brighton/Tiffany Foster (CAN), Collins/Hans Günther Blum, Donna/Jonathan Corrigan (IRL), Camall/Matthew Sampison (GBR) and Rocky W/Kaitlin Campbell (USA) and the eventing horse River of Joy/Michael Jung.
