The large-framed Coccianto will make his breeding debut in 2024. He presents himself as an athlete with correct legs and a strong top line and is naturally gifted in jumping in terms of ability, leg technique and bascule. With him we now have a descendant of the Capitol I line in our breeding program. His father Christian, son of the international show jumpers Cartani/Charlotte von Rönne (DEN) and Who Knows Lilly/Federico Sztyrle (ARG), was for several years internationally successful at 1.60 level with Jamie Gornall after starting his career with Gilbert Böckmann and Sören von Rönne. The dam's sire, Diamant de Semilly, won team gold under Eric Levallois (FRA) at the World Championships in Jerez and has delivered top international horses in a row. He is currently leading the WBFSH jumping rankings. The grand dam Hermeline is a full sister to the licensed stallion Good Luck, who competed in world championships with Cian O'Connor (IRL) and won numerous Grand Prix. She also bred the international show jumper Candy Luck/Willem Greve (NED). The great Canturo in third generation lived in Klein Offenseth for several years, took part in the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 with Bernardo Alves (BRA) and was victorious in the Grand Prix in Aachen and Madrid. In addition to Good Luck, the great-grand dam Famosa Z produced four other offspring that were successful at the highest level in show jumping, including Kismet / Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. With Furioso II, Ramiro and Goldberg, three exceptional sires are also in the declining dam line. Coccianto represents the Westphalian strain 360/Flora, which is also successfully used in Belgium. It’s the dam line of the licensed stallion Altano Z, as well as successful show jumpers such as Calida Lida/Tim Rieskamp-Gödeking, Holiday X/Audrey Steulet and O’Hara/Mark McAuley.
